Help Support the RED FOG Graphic Novel!
I’ve backed the RED FOG Nazi Zombie graphic novel project and I highly encourage you to do so as well. You can gain some cool rewards by doing so. As of right now, the project is 70% to its goal with less than three weeks left. As someone who will be attempting to gain some extra funds through crowdfunding for our own graphic novel project, it would be great to see others succeed with the model.

And keep an eye out for information regarding our own Kickstarter project, coming soon!

FEEDBACK NEEDED Regarding Crowdfunding of Comic Book Projects
I am thinking about starting a new Kickstarter campaign for some funds to help with our new H.G. Wells comic project. Seeing as how our last Kickstarter attempt (for Vampire Apocalypse – seen HERE), was unsuccessful, I’d like to get some feedback about what could be done to get you (and multiple others) to help to participate. Take a look at some of the other comic projects on Kickstarter for comparisons.
- What about the Vampire Apocalypse Kickstarter project is good?
- What about it is bad?
- What do you like/dislike about other Kickstarter projects?
- What sort of ‘Pledge Rewards’ would you like to see?
- How much would you consider pledging?
- What would get you to pledge more?
- What would get you to share the project with your friends, family, and strangers?
Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be helpful as I look into setting up another campaign. Funds received would be used to help offset some of the costs in the production of the book, as well as to bring members of the creative team together for a book launch at one of the major comic conventions in later 2011.

Detroit FanFare Follow-up
Many thanks to Heather Nolan for sporting the Finola costume all weekend! The show was a lot of fun, and I think Heather had a good time too. Met lots of great people, attendees and other creators alike. If anyone has more pictures of Heather, please post them here or send them to eric@newbabyproductions.com.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table. And even more thanks to those that purchased some of our books. Hopefully we have brought some New Baby fans on board.
Although there were some minor logistics issues, Detroit FanFare was a great show. And I will be looking forward to next year’s show when they move to the larger Cobo Hall.
